Dr. Zachary Eyre brings a unique and comprehensive perspective to patient care, shaped by his deep roots in dermatology and his extensive business and medical training.
As a third-generation dermatologist, Dr. Eyre’s passion for skin health runs in his blood. Growing up in his family’s practice, Eyre Dermatology—founded in 1971 by his grandfather, Dr. Warren Eyre, and later joined by his father, Dr. Russell Eyre, and uncle, Dr. Steven Eyre—Dr. Eyre has experienced every aspect of running a dermatology practice.
Working in various positions from front desk receptionist to medical assistant, Dr. Eyre gained firsthand insight into the patient's journey. This hands-on experience gave him a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to create an exceptional patient experience at every touchpoint.
Dr. Eyre’s formal education further enhanced his ability to deliver top-notch care. He graduated at the top of his class with a bachelor's degree in Finance and was recognized as Student of the Year. He then achieved a rare and distinguished accomplishment by simultaneously earning both his MD and MBA from the University of Utah, becoming the first student to do so. Following an internal medicine internship in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Eyre completed his dermatology residency at Emory University, where he served as chief resident and earned a certificate of distinction in healthcare management and leadership.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Eyre is a dedicated husband and father to his wife and two children, with a third on the way (February 2025!). He is active in his local church congregation and finds joy in hobbies like fishing, hiking, playing the piano, sculpting, and even sewing—he hand-sews some of his own ties!
